Lost and Found: We have numerous winter clothing items in our Lost & Found. Please encourage your child(ren) to have a look and claim any of their belongings. Parents are welcome to stop in and check the Lost & Found as well – it is located in our front foyer under the stairwell.

Road Safety: Please remind students who are walking to and from school to follow staff and crossing guard instructions when crossing the road. It is important that students cross the road at supervised areas or at stop signs! It has been brought to our attention by members of the community, that some students are running across busy roads where traffic is high, and students are not paying proper attention. Reviewing safe road rules as a family is an essential habit to continue.

Safe Arrival: Our school day begins at 9:15 a.m. Please ensure that students are here on time to start the school day! We would also ask that if your child is going to be absent, that you call the school and leave a message on the Safe Arrival line!

Parking Lot: We would ask that parents/guardians please follow the directions of our staff and student safety patrollers on duty in the parking lot, before and after school. We are providing direction in the interest of student safety. We would also ask that our disabled parking spaces are not blocked. The parking lot will be closed from 3:20 p.m. – 3:40 p.m. each day to ensure minimal traffic on school property during dismissal time. This is to ensure the safety of our students. Also, when coming to the school during school hours (including break time), we would ask that you park by the office and the side of the building. Please be cautious when driving on our neighbouring streets to ensure student/pedestrian safety. South Simcoe Police and By-Law officers have informed us that they will be monitoring our school neighbourhood regularly during school entry and exit times.
